Global Commodity Manager, MNC Manufacturing

We are looking for an experienced Global Commodity Manager to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management activities across the Asia region within the MNC Manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute regional/global commodity and sourcing strategies

• Manage direct materials and outsourced services across suppliers

• Lead supplier negotiations, pricing strategies, LTAs and commercial agreements

• Drive cost savings through benchmarking, should-cost, PPV and other cost-analysis initiatives

• Manage supplier capacity, lead time, delivery performance and supply continuity risks

• Lead supplier sourcing, qualification, transition and performance improvement activities

• Evaluate RFQs/RFPs and support strategic contract negotiations

• Work across sites on demand/supply planning, shortages, expedites and inventory optimisation

• Manage sourcing requirements covering capital equipment, MRO/tooling, repairs and related services

Requirements:

• Strong aerospace procurement / commodity management experience

• Solid background in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, cost reduction and contract management

• Knowledge of supplier requirements such as AS9100, Nadcap and customer flow-downs

• Familiar with ERP/MRP systems, Incoterms, global logistics and cross-border trade requirements

• Strong supplier risk and supply continuity management experience

• Advanced Excel skills

• Degree or minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience

Good to Have:

• Coupa and/or Power BI experience

• APICS/CPIM, CPSM, CIPS, Lean or Six Sigma certification

• REACH / RoHS knowledge

• Experience managing commodities across multiple Asia sites
