〔Position Summary〕
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development professional to support the growth of ACT Genomics Pharma/CRO business and strategic partnerships. The role will focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities with pharmaceutical companies, CROs, biotechnology companies, and other life-science partners, while supporting existing accounts and regional business development initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in business development, marketing, account management, or a related commercial role within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics, genomics, or life-science industry. Experience with NGS, molecular diagnostics, precision medicine, or genomic testing will be considered a strong advantage.
〔Key Responsibilities〕
Business Development & Account Management
- Develop new business opportunities with pharmaceutical companies, CROs, biotechnology companies, and other strategic partners.
- Identify and qualify potential leads, customer needs, and partnership opportunities across assigned markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within Pharma/CRO accounts.
- Support customer discussions from initial engagement through opportunity evaluation, proposal development, quotation, contracting, and project initiation.
- Maintain regular follow-up with existing and prospective customers to support business conversion and long-term account development.
- Develop and maintain a healthy BD pipeline and track opportunities, activities, and follow-up actions.
Pharma/CRO & Strategic Projects
- Support opportunities related to clinical trials, biomarker testing, genomic profiling, research projects, companion diagnostics, and other precision-medicine applications.
- Coordinate internally with laboratory, R&D, medical, product management, operations, legal, finance, and other relevant teams to evaluate customer requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
- Assist in preparing business proposals, quotations, presentations, NDAs, agreements, and other customer-facing materials.
- Support project coordination and communication between external partners and internal stakeholders.
Market Development & Marketing
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify new opportunities, customer segments, industry trends, and unmet needs.
- Support regional commercialization and market-development activities for ACT Genomics testing and service portfolio.
- Participate in conferences, exhibitions, partnering events, webinars, and other business-development activities.
- Work with the Marketing and Product Management teams to develop customer-facing materials and support promotional activities.
- Identify potential strategic partnerships with laboratories, healthcare institutions, research organizations, and other industry stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in business development, marketing, sales, key account management, or commercial roles within the pharmaceutical, CRO, biotechnology, diagnostics, or life-science industry.
- Previous experience working with Pharma and/or CRO customers is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge or experience in NGS, genomics, molecular diagnostics, oncology, precision medicine, or genetic testing is an advantage.
- Experience preparing commercial proposals, quotations, presentations, or coordinating contracts/projects is an advantage.
