The purpose of the Global Air Logistics Operations Optimization Management is to optimize the way of working in our Global Air Logistics Operations by creating, driving and implementing practical solutions in a combination of processes, systems and any other suitable method. The primary focus is on the initiatives and projects with a positive impact on the Air Logistics Service Delivery and/or Operational Production Cost.

How you create impact

  • Develop and implement operational solutions that improve Air Logistics processes, systems (including eTouch), and overall workflows.
  • Manage and drive Operations Optimization projects and initiatives from concept to implementation.
  • Collaborate with business and systems stakeholders to define and design solutions.
  • Validate operational solutions and engage with country-level Operations Optimization teams.
  • Lead the implementation of solutions across countries and ensure successful adoption.
  • Coordinate closely with Global CCL, OCC, RCC Operations Transformation Managers, and other Global Air Logistics teams.
  • Manage engagement and collaboration with the Systems (GA-I) team to support project execution.

What we would like you to bring

  • Minimum of 5 years of Kuehne+Nagel Air Logistics experience, with a strong understanding of the KN Operational Model
  • Deep knowledge of Air Logistics processes and systems, including SALOG, BPA, CareLOG, eTouch, and outsourcing setups
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build trust across stakeholders
  • High level of independence, with a proven track record of delivering consistent and tangible results
  • Solution-oriented, structured, and change-driven, with sensitivity to diverse cultural contexts
  • High travel readiness and strong on-site presence across APAC
  • Language skills: Fluent English is mandatory Mandarin is preferred
