We are searching for a Global Account Manager for a global leader in advanced materials for the semiconductor and electronics industries.
This is a senior position, with high priority and looking for suitable candidate with a minimum of 10 years industry experience working as an Account Manager/Sales Manager/ Business Development across the semiconductor space.
You will be the sales contact responsible for maintaining and expanding large multinational accounts, via sourcing for new global business opportunities - with prior experience doing so.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage designated strategic/global accounts and coordinate cross-functional and regional account activities as required.
- Establish strong collaboration across global and regional teams to accelerate customer opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strategic plans for key accounts, including organizational mapping and stakeholder identification.
- Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, influencers, and technical stakeholders at existing and target accounts.
- Identify opportunities to expand the use of company products and services within strategic customers.
- Act as the primary liaison between global account management, regional sales teams, and internal functions to coordinate resources and support business development.
- Identify short-term opportunities that can generate near-term business growth.
- Develop and pursue medium- and long-term strategic opportunities.
- Support business development activities across multiple international regions.
- Maintain a relationship and stakeholder database that can be leveraged by the broader sales organization.
- Conduct market research to identify target segments, prospective customers, industry trends, competitive intelligence, and new business opportunities.
- Integrate sales and marketing activities to generate qualified customer leads.
- Support the sales forecasting process.
- Develop relationships with relevant industry participants to gather market intelligence and facilitate strategic partnerships.
- Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferably in a technical setting
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry or technical sales experience.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex products and applications.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and account-management capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively across geographic regions and functions.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally and domestically, including occasional short-notice travel.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with technical or engineering-related software is advantageous.
