The Country Manager will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, growth, and profitability of the commercial specialty vehicle department. He or she will manage B:B business, identifying revenue opportunities, build strong connections with potential customer portfolio for vehicles.
The Country Manager will take the lead building the team and develop strategies to increase sales and penetration. This role requires a dynamic and vision visionary leader with extensive experience in the automotive industry.
Description:
- Develop and implement the company's strategic plan
- Identify business opportunities and markets, explore partnerships to drive revenue growth and market expansion
- Develops a wide network of contacts in the country to stay informed about current and future industry and market actions
- Build a strong team, ensure readiness and clarify goal and strategies for the team
- Researches and analyzes the business environment, competitors, and customers to develop ideas for new products and services, pricing strategies, and business models
- Enhance the company's image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and associates
- Set financial targets, monitor performance metrics, and drive revenue growth.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory and environmental challenges, leveraging technology and innovative solutions to address them
- Manage strong relationship with counterparts and stay informed
Qualification/Education, Experience, And Skills:
- Preferably Bachelor's degree in business administration or relevant field; further education in engineering, technology, or relevant fields is a plus
- Extensive experience in the Taiwan automotive sector including sales/business development roles
- Ideally experienced in building a new business in a market
- Familiarity with diverse business functions such as supply chain, sales, finance, HR, etc.
- Good knowledge of corporate governance, finance, and performance management principles
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
- Experience in working multicultural and global environment, complex stakeholder management, ability to see the big picture and connect the dots
- Fluency in English and Chinese
