We are conducting an executive search for our global freight logistics client for a Branch Manager to lead their Hong Kong operations. This is a senior leadership role with full P&L accountability, responsible for driving business growth, leading a high-performing team, and steering the company's strategic direction in the local and surrounding markets, with direct reporting to Group Head Office.

  1. Overall Operations Management: Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations management of the branch, bearing ultimate accountability for the branch's overall business performance and profit targets.

  2. Strategic Planning & Execution: Formulate the branch's medium-to-long-term development plan, annual business objectives, and sales budget organize implementation and regularly review achievement status.

  3. Market Development & Business Growth: Lead market expansion activities in the local and surrounding regions develop market expansion strategies and sales plans deeply understand customer needs, develop new customer resources, and expand market share.

  4. Client Relationship Management: Maintain and develop relationships with key customers enhance customer satisfaction and renewal rates represent the company in business negotiations, sign important business contracts, and ensure compliant business implementation.

  5. Market Analysis & Strategy Adjustment: Monitor shipping market dynamics, freight rate changes across routes, and competitor activities timely adjust business strategies identify business opportunities for LCL, FCL, and other services optimize product structure.

  6. Sales Team Management: Build and manage an efficient sales team set individual and team sales targets develop sales incentive policies and performance appraisal systems to stimulate team potential.

  7. Operations System Building: Build and optimize the branch's organizational structure and management systems according to business development needs formulate, improve, and supervise the implementation of various management systems and business processes to ensure efficient operations.

  8. Cross-Department Coordination & Resource Integration: Coordinate work among branch departments to ensure aligned objectives and efficient collaboration maintain good communication with Group Head Office and other branches to secure resource support.

  9. Team Building & Talent Development: Take charge of recruitment, selection, training, and promotion decisions for branch personnel establish a positive, performance-driven corporate culture cultivate middle-level management to build a strong leadership team.

  10. Emergency & Risk Management: Handle emergencies and major issues arising during business operations and management control business risks and ensure operational continuity and stability.


about you.

  1. Education: College degree or above majors in International Trade, Logistics Management, Business Administration, or related fields preferred. Experience in building a team from 0 to 1 is a plus.

  2. Work Experience: 10+ years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, including at least 5 years of sales-related experience and 3+ years of comprehensive enterprise or branch management experience.

  3. Industry Background: Currently serving as General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Operations Manager, or similar management positions in LCL or freight forwarding companies managing a team of 20+ people.

  4. Professional Knowledge: Possess comprehensive knowledge of LCL and FCL freight forwarding business familiar with full-process operations including booking, customs declaration, inspection, trucking, warehousing, etc.

  5. Market Insight: Familiar with market characteristics, freight rate systems, and carrier resources for major routes (e.g., Europe/America, Southeast Asia, Middle East, etc.).

  6. Sales & Market Capabilities: Possess excellent sales ability and performance orientation have proven track records of successful market expansion and performance achievements. Possess rich customer resources and industry connections in local or surrounding regions, able to bring immediate business growth.

  7. Management Capabilities: Familiar with corporate strategic planning able to establish business systems based on industry characteristics and company's actual situation. Possess excellent team management, organizational coordination, and cross-department communication skills.

  8. Language Skills: Fluent in spoken English able to use English as a working language for independent business negotiations and customer communication.

  9. Technical Skills: Proficient in using Word, Excel, PPT, and other office software possess data analysis capabilities.

  10. Comprehensive Qualities: Able to adapt to business travel have high work enthusiasm, strong sense of responsibility, and dedication. Strong ability to work under pressure possess innovative spirit and change awareness uphold excellent professional ethics and business morals.
