Job Description

Lead Asurion's telecom partnerships in Taiwan as General Manager, driving strategic growth and deepening relationships with key carrier partners. In this role, you will shape and expand innovative device protection and value-added service offerings, while leading high-impact negotiations with senior executives.

You'll act as the voice of the Taiwan market, translating local opportunities and challenges into clear insights for APAC leadership to unlock growth and investment. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you'll work closely with cross-functional telecom teams to deliver revenue, expand market presence, and elevate Asurion's value proposition.

This is a high-visibility leadership role for someone who thrives on building strong partnerships, driving commercial performance, and leading bold, market-shaping strategies in the telecom industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute Taiwan-specific strategies for telecom partners, driving product innovation, launches, and co-created value-added services.
  • Build influential relationships with telecom & insurance executives/headquarters to negotiate partnerships, enable co-innovation, and introduce next-gen Asurion solutions.
  • Proactively engage partners on performance reviews, product roadmaps, marketing ideas, and best practices to unlock revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Articulate Taiwan insights and challenges to APAC leadership via reports and weekly 1-on-1s, while managing team performance, tracking Taiwan RAM regional development/progress, and understanding cross-functional pain points to identify optimal solutions.
  • Monitor market trends/competitors and execute annual business plans with budget control, talent development, and channel partner training.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of strategic leadership and B2C experience in the telecom and/or insurance sectors, with a strong track record of driving growth
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • Strong understanding of the telecom consumer segment, including partnerships in consumer electronics and value-added services
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across Taiwan and APAC/global teams
  • Strategic mindset with experience in telecom product innovation and building win-win partnerships
  • Comfortable working in matrixed, fast-paced, multinational environments
  • Curious, resilient, and results-driven, with a focus on delivering measurable business impact
