GC/GCMS Technical Solution Specialist

Job Description

• Provide application consultation, on-site support, and demonstrate the latest GC/GCMS technologies and workflow solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, emerging applications, and competitive technologies. Develop and execute GC/GCMS solution strategies aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
• Understand customer analytical challenges and recommend effective solutions that deliver measurable value and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Design and perform customer sample tests, interpret results, and effectively communicate the technical and business value of Agilent solutions.
• Support application activities including solution development, instrument acceptance, customer training, method optimization and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and service teams to identify new business opportunities and support strategic growth initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, Food Science, Environmental Science, or a related scientific field.
• More than 3 years of hands-on experience with GC/MS technologies.
• Experience collaborating with companies in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of the GC/GCMS market, applications, and competition.
• Demonstrate good teamwork and ability to work independently in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Willingness to travel as required (50% of the time).
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Fluent in Chinese, with excellent listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
