About Your Next Opportunity
As a
Game Producer on the growth marketing team at VIVERSE, you will play a central role in shaping and delivering immersive gaming experiences that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention. Reporting directly to the Head of Growth, you will collaborate with internal teams and external development partners to ensure that our content strategy aligns with growth objectives, delights our audiences, and enhances the broader VIVERSE ecosystem. You will own the end-to-end processidentifying new content opportunities, negotiating deals, guiding production, and maintaining quality benchmarksalways with a laser focus on delivering impactful, fun, and innovative gameplay experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Alignment & Internal Collaboration:
- Lead internal studio production efforts to ensure all projects support growth marketing goals, including user onboarding, increased engagement, and longer user lifecycles.
- Partner closely with the marketing, product, and analytics teams to identify content gaps and opportunities that can drive measurable growth metrics (e.g., conversion rates, DAU, MAU).
- Represent the growth team's objectives in the game development lifecycle, ensuring that all creative and technical decisions reinforce our brand position and marketing strategies.
- External Studio Partnership Management:
- Identify and evaluate external development studios, from indie creators to established game studios, that can create experiences aligned with VIVERSE's brand identity and growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the development process.
- Negotiate contract terms, including development timelines, budgets, IP considerations, and deliverables, ensuring deals are equitable and set both parties up for success.
- Production Oversight & Quality Assurance:
- Oversee the entire production pipeline of external projects, from concept pitch to launch, providing guidance and feedback to keep development on track.
- Establish and enforce production milestones, deliverable formats, and quality standards to ensure that all content delivered enhances the user experience and meets VIVERSE's technical and artistic criteria.
- Proactively identify production risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely, high quality releases that delight users and drive audience growth.
- Data Driven Approach & Continuous Improvement:
- Utilize market research, user feedback, and data analytics to inform project selection, guide content improvements, and optimize user engagement metrics.
- Continuously refine processes and best practices to enhance efficiency, streamline communication, and improve the overall quality of delivered experiences.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the AR/VR/gaming space to maintain a forward-looking approach to content growth.
- Includes the creation, development, design, and improvement of products, equipment, facilities, services, standards, and procedures in all engineering fields. The Software area is responsible for the development of computer programming systems and applications including the design, coding, testing, and deployment of products and solutions to meet business obligations. The Development focus specializes in the design, development and testing of software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet related tools.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills And Experience)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in game production, product management, or related roles within the gaming industry.
- Proven track record in managing internal and external development teams, including contract negotiation and partner management.
- Familiarity with AR/VR technologies and platform ecosystems is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to balance creative vision with business objectives, ensuring content is engaging and aligned with growth goals.
- Exceptional project management, communication, and relationship building skills.
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions and optimize outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills And Abilities)
- Familiarity with shader programming (HLSL, GLSL) and visual effects.
- Experience with VR/AR or other emerging technologies.
- Knowledge of database systems or cloud services for games with live operations.
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies for project management.
- Passion for gaming, with knowledge of industry trends and gaming culture.
