The appointee will be expected to provide strategic leadership for the project and possess substantial experience in administration, project management, and stakeholder engagement. Key responsibilities include (a) overseeing and coordinating multi-partner projects, including those involving international agencies (b) leading liaison with external stakeholders (e.g., government departments, NGOs, professional bodies, funders, and international collaborators) (c) contributing to the design and delivery of training and capacity-building activities (including lectures, seminars, and training packages) (d) supporting the development and implementation of research and knowledge translation agendas, including the identification of new strategic opportunities to promote healthy ageing (e) overseeing project related administrative functions, governance, reporting, and quality assurance, and (f) performing other duties as assigned. Fieldwork outside office is required.Applicants should have (i) a Master's degree or above, preferably in Public Health, Social Sciences, Pubic Administration, or a related health discipline (ii) at least ten years of post-qualification experience in project or programme management at a senior administrative or leadership level, preferably in academic, health, or public sector settings (iii) a proven track record of independently managing relationships with senior stakeholders across diverse sectors (e.g. government, NGOs, healthcare organizations) (iv) demonstrated experience in planning and delivering complex, multi stakeholder initiatives, including policy, training, or research related projects (v) strong strategic thinking, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams and (vi) an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Experience in academic matters and research-related processes (e.g., protocol development, ethics, reporting to funders) will be a distinct advantage.Post B
The appointee will serve as a key leader in community engagement, education, and capacity-building initiatives, and is expected to possess substantial experience in teaching, training, public speaking, and stakeholder engagement. Key responsibilities include (a) overseeing and coordinating multi-partner projects, including those involving international agencies (b) leading liaison and strategic engagement with external stakeholders (e.g., government departments, NGOs, professional bodies, funders, and international collaborators) (c) designing and delivering training and capacity-building activities (e.g., lectures and seminars) (d) developing training and capacity-building materials (e.g., guidebook, toolkit, knowledge packages) (e) supporting the development and implementation of research and knowledge translation agendas, including the identification of new strategic opportunities to promote healthy ageing (f) facilitating the dissemination of project findings and experiences to regional and international partners (e.g., by attending or organizing meetings and conferences) (g) overseeing project related administrative functions, governance, reporting, and quality assurance, and (i) performing other duties as assigned. Fieldwork outside office and occasional overseas/mainland engagements may be required.Applicants should have (i) a Master's degree or above, preferably in Public Health, Social Sciences, Pubic Administration, or a related health discipline (ii) at least ten years of post-qualification experience in project or programme management at a senior administrative or leadership level, across both academia and ageing-related health sectors, preferably also with exposure to other domains and established cross-sector networks (iii) a proven track record of independently managing relationships with senior stakeholders across diverse sectors (e.g., international organizations, government, NGOs, healthcare organizations) (iv) demonstrated experience in planning and delivering complex, multi stakeholder initiatives, including policy, training, or research related projects (v) experience in teaching, public speaking, or professional training, and in developing training or educational materials (vi) strong strategic thinking, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams and (vii) an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
