Full-time/Part-time Research Assistant

Applicants should have/be (i) a good honours degree in Education, Educational Psychology, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related discipline (preference will be given to those with a postgraduate degree) (ii) proficient in NVivo for qualitative data analysis and SPSS, R, or STATA for quantitative analysis (iii) good written and spoken English communication skills (iv) good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and with attention to detail and (v) knowledge of active learning frameworks, outcomes-based approaches, or generative AI in educational contexts would be an advantage. Prior experience in academic or educational research will also be advantageous.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting in the design, piloting, and administration of research instruments, including interview protocols and surveys (b) conducting qualitative data coding and thematic analysis using NVivo (c) assisting with quantitative data management and analysis using SPSS, R, or STATA (d) curating and evaluating pedagogical resources to support an AI-assisted educator resource platform (e) coordinating logistics for workshops and professional development events (f) contributing to manuscript preparation, reports, and conference presentations and (g) performing any other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator or his/her delegates.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
