Full-time/Part-time Research Assistant I/II in the Laboratory of Biomedical Imaging and Signal Processing,Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Ref.: 533947)(to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary contract basis).

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree or above in Biomedical Engineering/Sciences, Neuroscience, Biology or other related disciplines. They should have strong communication and collaboration skills as a team. Fluent spoken Cantonese, English and previous experience in assisting patient study, computer or data-organizing would be an advantage. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) and good computer literacy. They should also be good team players with good organisational, communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and be self-motivated. Applicants who haveprevious experience in animal research and image reconstruction would be an advantage.

The appointee will be responsible for image segmentation, labeling, and annotation of MRI imaging data, improving MR imaging technology (i.e., MR imaging development, artefact removal, reconstruction, etc.) and other research-related duties as assigned by the investigators.Further information about our lab can be obtained at . For full-time appointment, the appointment will be required to work 39 hours per week and for part-time appointment, appointee will be required to work 5 to 10 hours per week.
