Full Stack Engineer (Java & React)
Taipei, Taiwan (Hybrid)
We are looking for a passionate Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using Java and React. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that support business needs and provide an exceptional user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and React.
- Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Develop responsive, reusable, and high-performance frontend components using React.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define technical solutions and deliver new features.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following software engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring system stability.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the technology stack.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong experience with React.js.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQLor PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience with Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other distributed technologies.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Cypress, Jest).
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
