This is a full-time, on-site position based in Taiwan. Remote work is not available.

Are you passionate about building scalable, modern web applications that make a real-world impact IDFL is looking for a Junior Full Stack Django Developer to help shape the tools and systems used by clients around the globe.

What Youll Be Doing

- Design, build, and maintain Django-based web apps and admin backends.

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework, templates, and HTMX.

- Complete Jira tickets based on technical requirements.

- Communicate proactively with team members to clarify project needs and goals.

- Participate in team discussions, troubleshooting, and iterative improvements.

What Were Looking For

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

- 1+ years of experience as a developer.

- Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.

- Basic knowledge of databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).

- Strong understanding of object-oriented design and development.

- Fluent written English; verbal English or Chinese communication skills.

Soft Skills:

- Problem-solver with a growth mindset: youre always curious and ready to learn.

- Proactive and responsible: you take ownership and drive tasks to completion.

- Comfortable in collaborative environments: Agile, Scrum, pair programming, and code reviews.

Bonus Points For:

- Experience with Python, Django, FastAPI, or Flask.

- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Comfortable using Linux/Ubuntu systems.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, CodeDeploy).

- Knowledge of Celery, Redis, Gunicorn, Selenium, etc.

- Experience in data pipelines, ETL, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).

- Played around with LLM APIs (ChatGPT, fine-tuning, or AI agents).

- Solid background in unit/integration testing.

- Exposure to front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React.

- Familiarity with UI/UX tools like Figma.
