We are looking for a talented and passionate Front-End Engineer with solid experience in developing and optimizing web applications. You will be joining the LINE TODAY development team, responsible for delivering high-quality user experiences across a wide range of services. Responsibilities
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle: planning, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
- Build and maintain responsive web applications (SPA/MPA) across PC and mobile with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, and UX.
- Collaborate with designers to turn mockups into reusable and maintainable UI components and systems.
- Optimize frontend performance and ensure scalability and code quality.
- Explore and introduce new frontend technologies to improve development efficiency and product quality.
- Work with global teams in Japan and Korea to deliver localized or global features.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in frontend web development.
- Expert-level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and DOM manipulation.
- Proficient in building SPAs using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- Experience building responsive and accessible web applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Proficient in English and able to communicate effectively with global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD workflows, frontend tools (e.g., Babel, Eslint, Typescript, docker, k8s).
- Strong skills in unit tests, integration tests, and E2E tests
- Experience in mobile app or backend development is a plus.
- Contributions to OSS projects or involvement in developer communities.
- Knowledge of web performance and SEO optimization techniques.
