Responsibilities of Front Office Risk Manager - Global Asset Manager:
- Provide quantitative research on risk methodologies across public and private markets.
- Monitor risk exposures across trading portfolios, ensuring adherence to internal risk appetite and governance frameworks.
- Partner closely with traders and business stakeholders to understand portfolio positioning, trading strategies, and emerging risks.
Requirements of Front Office Risk Manager - Global Asset Manager:
- Minimum 12 years of experience within Quantitative Risk or a front-office related function within a private markets environment.
- Solid knowledge of market risk concepts including VaR, stress testing, sensitivity-based measures, scenario analysis, and risk limit frameworks.
- Ability to effectively challenge, influence, and engage with front office stakeholders.
- Experience working within a global financial institution and interacting with cross-border teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of operating in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or another quantitative discipline. Higher studies pursuing Masters and PhD would be advantageous
