We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who thrives in early-stage product development. In this role, we prioritize a Product-First Mindset and Strong Communication as much as Technical Capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Early Research & Analysis: Proactively participate in front-end research, requirement analysis, and market value exploration for potential products.
- Rapid PoC & Prototyping: Design, build, and review Proof-of-Concept (PoC) samples. Embrace quick iterations using low-cost prototypes to validate innovative mechanisms and new technologies.
- Engineering Translation: Turn product proposals and client requirements into concrete engineering designs, solutions, and validation plans.
- CAD, BOM & DFM: Source optimal materials and components; deliver precise 2D/3D CAD models and BOMs that strictly follow Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
- Assembly, Debugging & NPI: Lead prototype assembly, debug issues, analyze reliability test results, optimize design details, and collaborate with QA and Supply Chain teams to ensure a smooth transition to mass production.
Qualifications

- Thriving in High Ambiguity: Comfortable with the rapid changes of front-end development. When projects need agile adjustments based on test results or client needs, you quickly adapt and propose alternative solutions.
2. 溝通與協作 (Communication & Collaboration - Second Priority)
- English Communication: Fluent in English to directly lead technical discussions with international clients.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Industrial Designers, Technical Product Managers (PdM), QA, and Supply Chain teams to understand the business context, user experience, and resolve NPI technical bottlenecks.
3. 技術與實作能力 (Technical & Hands-On Capabilities)
- 2+ Years of Experience: Hands-on experience in hardware mechanical design, well-versed in plastic injection molding, sheet metal stamping, CNC machining, and tooling fundamentals.
- Hands-On Problem Solving: Passionate about turning ideas into reality through 3D printing, manual prototyping, and hands-on debugging.
- Software & AI Tools: Proficient in CREO and eager to leverage AI tools/workflows to optimize daily engineering SOPs.

- 快速動手設計、製作並審查 POC樣品,勇於迭代,透過低成本原型與快速迭代,驗證創新機構或新技術的可行性。
- 轉化客戶模糊的需求,提案為具體的工程方案,包括解決方案、設計、驗證。
- 尋求最合適的材料與零組件,產出精確且符合 DFM的2D/3D CAD、與BOM 。
- 主導樣機的組裝與除錯,分析可靠度測試結果,持續優化設計細節,確保設計能順利銜接至後段量產。
- 與工業設計師、技術產品經理 緊密合作,理解產品背後的商業脈絡與使用體驗。
- 在專案中後期,與品保團隊及供應鏈協作,協助排解新產品導入NPI階段的技術瓶頸。
- 具備2年以上硬體產品機構設計經驗,熟悉塑膠射出、金屬沖壓、CNC 等常見加工製程與模具基本知識。
- 熟悉前端開發的高不確定性。當專案因應測試結果或客戶需求需要「滾動式調整」時,能快速轉換思維,提出替代方案。
- Product First Mindset,不只關心「這東西做不做得出來」,更在乎「使用者用起來好不好用」。能與工業設計師 (ID) 進行建設性的溝通,在美學堅持與工程合理性之間找到最佳解法。
- 動手解決問題的能力,熟悉 3D 列印或手作打樣,喜歡親手把想法變成實體的成就感。
