We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Market Research Interviewer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting interviews with key stakeholders and decision-makers in various industries within the B2B space. The insights you gather will be critical in shaping our understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Quickly digest and understand the information in various formats covering a range of industries and countries
- Secondary research on industry/company sources, for personal use and for dissemination
- Conducting structured interviews with professionals in target industries, including but not limited to C-suite executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Developing interview scripts and questionnaires tailored to specific research objectives and target audiences.
- Building rapport with interviewees to encourage open and honest responses.
- Recording and documenting interview data accurately and efficiently.
- Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to extract meaningful insights.
- Collaborating with the research team to interpret findings and draw actionable conclusions.
- Adhering to ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality throughout the research process.
- Providing regular updates on project progress and participating in team meetings to discuss findings and next steps.
- To build analysis and recommendations based on the information available and supported by your own additional research when necessary
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Strong communication skills - conducting interviews with industry players is a key part of the role; applicants with sales backgrounds and cold-calling backgrounds are also welcome
- Proven experience in conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research, preferably in a B2B context
- Minimum availability of 30 hours per week when actively engaged on a project
- Fluency in English and native in the local language, for both speaking and writing
- Tenacity in the pursuit of information, especially through trade interviews, and keen attention to detail when comparing information across multiple sources
- Excellent time-management, organization, and self-motivation skills
- High level of numeracy - Ability to work with, analyze, and interpret data
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- A degree in business, marketing, economics, statistics, or related field
- Previous experience working remotely or on a project basis
