Key Responsibilities:
- Develop advanced chemical solutions to meet customer technical requirements in semiconductor cleaning and treatment applications.
- Collaborate closely with customers, including R&D and manufacturing organizations within global semiconductor fabs, to understand challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Develop and improve methodologies that simulate customer in-line test results, formulate chemical products, analyze data, present technical findings, and support customer technology development.
- Work cross-functionally throughout the entire product development cycle, including Marketing, Account Management, Application Engineering, Quality, Scale-up Engineering, Manufacturing, and EHS functions, to successfully commercialize robust products.
- Demonstrate technical leadership in CMP and semiconductor cleaning technologies, contribute to product development planning, support technology roadmaps, and help resolve complex technical challenges.
- Drive innovation and deliver business impact through high-quality execution, effective collaboration, and responsiveness to customer and market needs.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or a related discipline; alternatively, a Master's degree with significant relevant research experience.
- Minimum 3 years of research and development experience.
- Understanding of the product development lifecycle, including idea generation, proof of concept, product development, validation, commercialization, and continuous improvement.
- Strong project management, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Fluent English communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts and results independently to global customers and internal stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Experience or knowledge in electrochemistry, surface chemistry, analytical chemistry, polymer science, or related characterization techniques.
- Experience or knowledge in post-CMP cleaning (PCMP), semiconductor cleaning chemistries, wafer surface treatment, or related semiconductor process technologies.
- Experience in semiconductor materials, electronic chemicals, CMP consumables, wafer cleaning chemicals, photoresists, advanced packaging materials, or related industries is highly desirable.
- Experience collaborating with multicultural and global teams.
International Candidate Information:
- This position is based in Jhunan, Taiwan. Candidates must be willing and able to relocate to Taiwan and work on-site as part of the local R&D organization. International applicants, including candidates from Japan and other countries, are encouraged to apply.
