Job Title: Business Process Analyst – Finance Master Data

This will be a 12 Month Contract (possible extension based on performance). This role plays a critical part in maintaining, optimizing, and governing Finance Data Structures (FDS) to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for managing and enriching Finance Master Data, including:

• Chart of Accounts (CoA)

• Cost Elements

• Profit Centers & Cost Centers

• Reporting & Financial Hierarchies

Job Description:

• Manage FDS (Finance Data Structures) requests in line with GFT, AFT, FBW standards
• Review and validate financial datasets; analyze ADH dashboards to identify anomalies
• Define, promote, and enforce finance data governance principles
• Educate users on GFT & AFT principles, MI mapping, and reporting solutions
• Drive continuous improvement and process efficiency within the team
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships globally
• Ensure process documentation reflects current operating models
• Support internal/external audits and ad hoc finance initiatives
• Review and approve deployment and system change requests
• Oversee mapping from legacy accounting systems to SAP Global CoA & FDS
• Support CoA definition, legacy mapping, testing, and reconciliation activities
• Support system transformation programmes (data corrections, testing & monitoring)
• Develop and deliver training materials for SAP business users
• Coordinate and track CoA & FDS activities across projects

Centre of Expertise

You will act as a Finance Data SME, providing expert guidance on:

• Global CoA & FDS design

• Data issue resolution

• Viable solutions aligned to GFT & AFT frameworks

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent professional qualification

4–8 years experience in general accounting, group & MI reporting

Key Skills & Requirements

Strong experience with SAP FI & CO (MDG exposure preferred)
