The Opportunity
A global International Company is looking for a Finance Controller to join its Singapore HQ. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead the finance function, supervise a small finance team and support the company's continued international growth.
The Job
- Lead the full spectrum of finance operations, including financial reporting, month-end/year-end closing, group consolidation, and cash flow management.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with SFRS, while supporting EU-adopted IFRS reporting requirements and statutory compliance.
- Partner closely with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, treasury, corporate tax, transfer pricing, and business performance analysis.
- Lead audit, tax, regulatory reporting, and stakeholder management while driving continuous process improvements and internal controls.
- Supervise and mentor a small finance team in a collaborative international environment.
The Talent
- Degree in Accountancy or Finance with CPA / ACCA / CA / ISCA qualification preferred.
- At least 8 years of accounting and finance experience, including financial reporting, consolidation, audit and statutory compliance.
- Experience in leasing, logistics, shipping, transportation, asset-intensive, trading or multinational environments will be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of SFRS, Excel and ERP systems; experience with treasury, FX, tax or consolidation is a plus.
- Confident communicator with strong English proficiency and the ability to thrive in a hands-on, collaborative environment.
