Financial Analyst EL Manufacturing Cluster Equipment

Location: Taiwan (Taipei or Kaohsiung preferrable)

As a Financial Analyst for the Equipment manufacturing cluster, you will closely collaborate with local site controllers and the Head of Cluster Finance to provide valuable financial insights to enhance operational efficiency and profitability for our manufacturing network. This role includes analyzing production costs, preparing financial (ad-hoc) reports and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic and short-term decision-making. Furthermore your focus will be to enhance financial transparency to achieve greater efficiency and agility in a cyclical market.

Your Role

  • Performance Management and Steering:
    • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis related to manufacturing operations, including cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Support local standard-price calculations with related processes (either global support or clearly defined local responsibilities e.g. for Asia sites)
    • Identify trends and variances to assist in decision-making.
    • Collaborate with local controllers & production managers to develop and implement cost control measures aimed at improving operational efficiency.
    • Support savings review to ensure profitability goals will be achieved
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reviews and support Head of Cluster Finance to consolidate global Cluster financials
    • Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts for manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.

  • Digital Transformation:
    • Support the development of digital routines and automated reporting and bring in new ideas of how to further improve and increase productivity
    • Assist the implementation of new processes to streamline reporting and enhance data accuracy
Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or professional certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in controlling or related finance field, with a background in manufacturing or production finance.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, including Excel and ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical thinking, concept development, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective communication with stakeholders and the team
