Job Scope
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in driving finance automation and supporting business decisions through insightful financial analysis across the East Asia region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and leveraging technology to enhance reporting efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive finance automation initiatives to streamline reporting processes and improve operational efficiency.
Analyse financial data, including Profit & Loss (P&L), business performance, revenue, and cost trends, to provide meaningful business insights.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and automated analytical tools using Advanced Excel, Power BI, and/or Tableau.
Perform financial analysis, identify trends and variances, and present clear recommendations to management.
Support budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Shared Services, Pricing, Cost of Sales, and regional business teams, to support reporting, finance initiatives, and business decision-making.
Identify opportunities to improve existing reporting processes by leveraging automation, AI tools, and digital solutions.
Support continuous process improvement projects and contribute to finance transformation initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in FP&A, Financial Analysis, Financial Controlling, Management Reporting, or a related finance function.
Strong understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L), financial reporting, management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience handling large datasets, financial modelling, and data analysis.
Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau to build dashboards and deliver data-driven insights.
Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable recommendations.
Comfortable presenting financial findings to management and working with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
Passionate about process improvement, automation, and leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Adaptable, quick to learn new technologies, and comfortable working in a fast-paced regional environment.

Additional:
Reports directly to the Finance Manager (Individual Contributor role).
Supports the East Asia region (excluding Japan, India, and China).
1-year contract position.
Salary: SGD $6,000 - $8,000 per month
