JD for Financial Analyst
This role supports the financial planning and analysis activities for BDB (Biosciences)and DS (Diagnostic Solutions). It reports to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager of BD Taiwan & Hong Kong.
RESPONSIBILITY
- Responsible for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning
- Business financial performance tracking,providing comments for actual variance vs. Budget, forecast, and past year, and identifying risk & opportunities
- Provide on the ground financial analysis and scenario analysis to support business unit decision-making
- Support business unit to prepare financial information for business review
- Prepare Financial consolidation report to regional office (including Greater China and Greater Asia)
- Prepare presentation for designated meeting purpose
- Participate in business strategy discussion and provide comments with solid financial rationale behind
- Ad-hoc business projects
- Interact directly with other departments
- Cover both Taiwan and Hong Kong markets
Education
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or above,majoring in accounting, finance or relevant discipline
Experience
- Min 5-year work experience (of minimum 3 years business analyst)in MNC.
- Familiar with SAP financial system or other ERP systems
- Work experience in Big 4 auditing firms is highly preferred
Competency
- Strong analytical skill and business acumen. Be able to play a financial advisory role.
- Good at financial model building. Knowledge in accounting practice standard.
- Familiar with Excel, Word,PowerPoint, and Power BI; Highly numerate, excellent in Excel spreadsheet and data analysis applications
- Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Proactive,having high learning agility, a good business partner and team player
- Ability to work under pressure with strict submission timeline as well as a constantly evolving working environment
- Willing to take challenging works
- Native Chinese speaker,good command of (verbal & written) communication in English.
