Finance Operations (Insurance, 6-month Renewable Contract)

We're partnering with a leading global financial institution to hire an AVP, Finance Operations on a 6-month contract. This is a great opportunity for finance professionals looking to gain exposure to financial reporting, finance transformation and cross-functional stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly financial close and support financial and regulatory reporting.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, substantiation and issue resolution.
• Partner with Finance, Technology and Operations teams on system enhancements, process improvements and finance transformation initiatives.
• Support new product implementations, automation projects and finance controls.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure accurate accounting treatment and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• Around 4–6 years of finance operations, financial reporting or accounting experience.
• Experience in the life insurance industry is highly preferred.
• Exposure to finance transformation, system implementation or process improvement projects.
• Experience with tools such as Alteryx is a plus.
