Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Taipei for a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure the efficient allocation of resources and alignment with the company's objectives. Responsibilities include managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with local regulations, monitoring key performance indicators, and providing strategic financial insights for decision-making. The Finance Manager will also liaise with different teams and stakeholders to ensure the financial health of the company while identifying opportunities for growth and cost optimization.

In terms of finance, the manager will prepare the yearly budget of Taiwan with the Taiwan director and will also help the project managers with their own budgets (check and support).

In addition, this role oversees the day-to-day administrative operations to ensure the smooth running of the Taiwan office, including vendor management, office supplies, employee reimbursements, and coordination with external service providers.

After probation, the manager will be taking over the same tasks for Thailand office

Qualifications

  • Strong financial management and analysis skills including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in regulatory compliance and risk management practices
  • Advanced problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams
  • Proficiency in financial software and accounting tools, with demonstrable technical skills in Excel and financial modeling
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification is a plus
  • Prior experience in the F&B or related industries is highly desirable
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus due to the regional focus
