In this Role, you'll get to
Bookkeeping & and tax compliance
- Maintain full sets of accounts and ensure all accounting transactions are recorded in general ledger accurately
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly closing of accounts
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all tax filing and payment (VAT, WHT, CIT etc)
Statutory & tax audits
- Complete audit for all local entities on time as per statutory requirements
- Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, tax agents and company secretaries
Invoice policy and OA trainings
- Advise and assist local staff for travel and business expenses reimbursement application process in OA system
- Organize regular employee OA reimbursement training
- Ensure compliance with company policy and internal controls
Others
- Support for the company's business, such as support for the renewal of business licenses, etc
- Assist in ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
What you'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in finance or other related disciplines.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in general accounting and taxation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local financial regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of Taiwan tax rules and regulations.
- Strong understanding of internal controls and corporate governance.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (Oracle preferred).
- Excellent communication skills in English.
