Job Description
- Lead and oversee the company's finance, accounting, and financial control functions.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, and statutory reporting.
- Manage corporate tax, GST, tax compliance, and liaise with external tax advisors and auditors.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.
- Support and eventually serve as a reliable backup to the current Senior Manager.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team while driving continuous process improvements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support business and financial decision-making.
- Participate in finance transformation initiatives, including the implementation of a new core system.
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with several years in a managerial position.
- Prior experience handling with account firm, particularly in Audit or Tax, is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of:
- ①Financial reporting
- ②Financial controls
- ③Corporate tax and GST
- ④Statutory compliance
- ⑤Audit processes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of finance operations.
- Experience leading finance process improvements or ERP/system implementation projects would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
