Finance Manager, Group Finance - SGHQ

The Role

Based at our Singapore headquarters and reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager is the finance function's hands-on lead across the group - owning the month-end close and consolidation for the Singapore and Hong Kong licensed entities, and quality-checking the work of the outsourced accounting firm that maintains the mainland China entity's books.

This role requires genuine, hands-on Hong Kong finance operations experience. You should have personally maintained full sets of accounts for Hong Kong entities and taken them through at least one complete HK statutory audit and profits tax cycle - not merely reviewed HK numbers at a group level. You will apply that experience daily from Singapore while working closely with the Hong Kong team.

This is a build-and-run role in a fast-scaling fintech: you will also lead the group's upcoming finance system implementation and help shape the close, reconciliation and control processes as the finance team grows.

What You'll Do

Group Accounting, Close & Reporting

. Own the month-end close and consolidation across the Singapore and Hong Kong entities, and deliver monthly management accounts, variance analysis and cash flow reporting to the Finance Director.

. Maintain a consistent group chart of accounts and accounting policies across the SG, HK and mainland China entities.

Hong Kong Licensed Entities (hands-on)

. Maintain and review the full sets of accounts for the Hong Kong licensed entities under HKFRS, ensuring audit-ready records suited toa regulated environment.

. Manage the HK statutory audit, profits tax computation, employer's returns and other IRD / Companies Registry filings end-to-end with local auditors and the HK team.

Oversight of Team & Outsourced Providers

. Review and quality-check the bookkeeping produced by the Finance Executive and the mainland China outsourced accounting firm resolve issues and ensure clean consolidation.

. Set the group closing calendar and hold both internal and outsourced parties to it.

Singapore Compliance

. Oversee Singapore statutory accounting under SFRS(I):ACRA filings, IRAS corporate tax, GST submissions and the annual audit, working with tax agents and auditors.

Finance System Implementation &Controls

. Lead the group finance system migration: chart of accounts mapping, data cleansing, opening balances, UAT and parallel-run reconciliation.

. Design and document close checklists, reconciliation controls and approval workflows fit for a multi-entity fintech group.

What You'll Need

Must-have

. Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related disciplineCA (Singapore) / ACCA / HKICPA / CPA qualified.

. Hands-on Hong Kong finance operations experience -you have personally prepared full-set HK accounts and handled at least one complete HK audit and profits tax cycle. (This is a core requirement for the role.)

. 6+ years of accounting experience, including full-set Singapore accounts under SFRS(I) and group month-end close / consolidation.

. Prior experience in fintech, payments or a licensedf inancial institution (payment institution, MSO, e-money, virtual asset firm, fund services or bank).

. Fluent business English and Mandarin - Mandarin is essential for reviewing mainland China statements and liaising with the outsourced accountants Cantonese is an advantage for HK audit and tax work.

. Strong ownership and the ability to work hands-on while managing external providers and deadlines.

Advantageous

. Experience leading or participating in an accounting /ERP system migration (e.g. Xero, NetSuite, SAP).

. Multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation experience with an overseas parent or regional HQ.

. Working knowledge of mainland China accounting practices (PRC GAAP) sufficient to review outsourced statements.
