Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the company's financial operations and provide strong financial and commercial support to the business.

The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day finance function while working closely with senior management and operational teams to ensure strong financial controls, accurate reporting, effective cash-flow management, and sound commercial decision-making.

Experience within the marine, shipping, offshore, engineering, trading, or B2B services industry will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the company's day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash flow, and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor customer payments, outstanding receivables, credit exposure, and collection activities.
• Manage supplier payments and ensure appropriate financial controls are in place.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and variance analysis.
• Monitor project and service-related costs to ensure profitability and cost control.
• Work closely with the sales and operations teams to review quotations, pricing, margins, contracts, and commercial terms.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business and commercial decisions.
• Monitor revenue, gross margins, operating expenses, and overall business performance.
• Support the management of inventory, purchasing, and product-related financial matters where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, tax requirements, statutory reporting, and company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other professional service providers.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and accounting procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency, reporting accuracy, and business processes.
• Provide financial insights to senior management and support strategic business planning.
• Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis, business projects, and other responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent is advantageous.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
