HTC is seeking a Finance Executive (AI Focus) to oversee the creation of AI-driven financial content, insights, and knowledge platforms designed to support informed discussion, research, and analysis across finance, economics, markets, and historical trends.
The ideal candidate will come from a background in financial journalism, financial research, economic history, or related analytical disciplines, with a strong ability to synthesize complex information into compelling narratives and actionable insights.
This individual will work cross-functionally with AI, product, editorial, and business stakeholders to shape the initiative's direction, quality, and long-term vision.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Define editorial, analytical, and research frameworks for AI-generated financial and historical content.
- Collaborate with AI and technical teams to improve content quality, contextual accuracy, and knowledge modeling.
- Guide the development of financial narratives, market analysis, thematic research, and historical comparisons.
- Translate complex financial, macroeconomic, and historical topics into clear and engaging content.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for credibility, tone, factual consistency, and analytical depth.
- Partner with leadership teams on product direction, user engagement strategy, and business priorities.
- Identify emerging trends in finance, economics, geopolitics, and AI-driven media.
- Build and maintain trusted information standards, editorial integrity, and research methodologies.
- Potentially recruit and manage researchers, analysts, writers, or content contributors as the project scales.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Abilities)
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, journalism, history, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working in financial journalism, economic/financial history, equity/macroeconomic research, or financial publishing.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, economics, business cycles, and historical market trends.
- Ability to critically evaluate information quality and narrative consistency.
- Familiarity with AI tools, LLMs, knowledge systems, or data-driven content platforms is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from concept through execution.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong English proficiency, both written and spoken.
- Naturally curious and research-oriented.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
- Passionate about finance, history, and emerging technologies.
- Able to balance intellectual rigor with practical execution.
- Strong editorial judgment and storytelling ability.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Abilities)
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical or product teams is highly preferred.
- Background covering global markets, economic policy, or financial history.
- Experience building newsletters, research platforms, podcasts, or editorial products.
- Experience with AI content workflows, prompt engineering, or knowledge management systems.
- International or cross-cultural business exposure.
