1. Strategic Finance Leadership
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support long-term business goals and shareholder value.
- Partner with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, accounting and financial planning to drive performance.
- Provide financial insight for major business decisions, investment evaluation, and resource allocation.
2. Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee accurate preparation and timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS / local GAAP and Taiwan regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
3. Treasury, Cash Flow & Risk Management
- Lead treasury functions, cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and funding strategies.
- Monitor financial risks and implement risk-mitigation strategies, including currency, credit, and interest risks. (Common responsibility in listed finance roles)
4. Internal Control & Governance
- Design and enforce internal control systems, finance policies, and SOPs across accounting, tax, audit, and compliance.
- Strengthen governance practices to support effective oversight and audit readiness.
5. Corporate Planning & Capital Markets
- Lead strategic planning for capital market activities, including IPOs, secondary offerings, mergers & acquisitions, and investor relations engagement.
- Prepare materials for investor briefings, board reports, and financial disclosures. (Standard in listed company roles)
6. Team Leadership & Development
- Build and manage a strong finance team covering FP&A, accounting, tax, treasury, and compliance.
- Coach, mentor, and develop finance staff to deliver high performance and continuous improvement.
