Finance Director (European Region)

Job Responsibilities

1. Oversee the full spectrum of financial operations for the European region, including accounting, treasury, taxation, budgeting, reporting and compliance.

2. Manage financial activities across multiple European entities and ensure compliance with local statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.

3. Manage cash flow, banking relationships, cross-border funding and intercompany transactions to support European business operations.

4. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and other professional service providers on statutory audits, VAT, tax filings and transfer pricing matters.

5. Establish and maintain internal controls, financial policies and reporting standards across multiple entities.

6. Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, and provide financial insights to support business and management decision-making.

7. Support European business expansion, entity restructuring, financial system implementation and other finance-related projects.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline professional accounting qualification is preferred.

2. At least 8 years of relevant finance experience, including senior-level finance management experience.

3. Hands-on experience in managing finance operations across multiple European entities or jurisdictions.

4. Strong practical experience in European VAT, taxation, transfer pricing, treasury and statutory compliance.

5. Proven experience in multi-entity financial management, cross-border transactions and consolidated financial reporting.

6. Experience in establishing or managing financial shared services, ERP implementation or finance process transformation is preferred.

7. Experience working with international headquarters and managing cross-cultural stakeholders or finance teams.

8. Excellent command of English Mandarin proficiency is preferred for communication with Group headquarters and relevant stakeholders.
