The purpose of this role is to manage the standard Operational Finance activities for the market. The role will build a successful team, manage process risk and drive continuous improvement initiatives across multiple processes.
Job Description:
Key responsibilities:
- Reviews and implements process controls to ensure Operational Finance deliverables are achieved on an accurate and timely basis
- Maintains and reviews documentation ensuring compliance to policies and audit requirements
- Ensures clear governance in place to manage changes to Master Data and its impact across multiple systems and processes including definitions and mapping rules
- Develops and delivers on key process performance indicators
- Effectively manages the team and its deliverables focussing on utilisation, effectiveness, cross training and engagement
- Drives delivery of continuous process improvement initiatives and implement best practices to achieve operational efficiencies
- Engages closely with Commercial Finance and Financial Control teams, as well as other internal and external stakeholders to resolve key process issues
- Effectively manages risk and escalations where process deficiencies are identified
