The Impact You'll Make on this Role
Role
As Controller, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise and collaborate with a diverse, global team. In this role, you will make an impact by:
- Ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reporting in compliance with US GAAP and local statutory standards
- Maintaining strong internal controls across financial processes involving both the local country team and the Genpact team
- Providing guidance to upstream functions to ensure full compliance with GFS, SOX, and local regulatory requirements
- Upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity, and promoting a strong compliance culture across Controllers and upstream functions
Key Responsibilities Include
- Responsible for local month-end closing activities and the timely transmission of monthly financial statements in accordance with assigned deadlines
- Work closely with Genpact to ensure smooth transition of assigned activities and resolve gaps or challenges
- Support the stabilization of SAP ERP systems and related processes
- Collaborate with 3M Taiwan and Thermo Fisher Controllers teams on TDSA/Settlement statements, ensuring accuracy in reporting
- Partner with Finance cross-functional teams, including Treasury, Tax, Audit, and EO, to provide guidance on internal controls and compliance with agreed procedures
- Perform regular reviews of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure outstanding items are current and aged items are appropriately addressed
- Work closely with local, Genpact, and global teams to support a smooth transition of systems and processes upon exit of TDSA
- Lead local projects to align with global processes and promote the use of standard reports and tools
- Provide guidance, training, and development support to the Genpact team
- Ensure zero primary and repeat audit findings in the Controllers function and sustain assigned Management Action Plans
Minimum Qualifications
Your Skills and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
- 3 to 4 years of work experience in corporate accounting & reporting, audit, or statutory financial closing
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience working with shared service centers and understanding cross-functional interdependencies
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, local statutory financial standards, and corporate tax regulations
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications

- Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties require travel to office at least 3 days per week)
- Travel: May include domestic/international travel
