Finance & Accounts Manager – Taiwan
We are seeking a capable, hands-on Finance & Accounts Manager to oversee the full spectrum of finance operations in Taiwan. This is an excellent opportunity for an independent, self-driven finance professional who is comfortable managing both strategic and operational responsibilities autonomously in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full set of accounting and finance functions
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with local regulations and company policies
- Handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Ensure compliance with Taiwan tax regulations, including VAT, corporate income tax, and statutory filings
- Prepare monthly management reporting, inventory reporting, and internal sales reporting
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities
- Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and optimize working capital
- Process monthly payroll and payroll withholding tax
- Maintain employee personnel files, including leave applications and medical records
- Handle insurance-related matters
- Support HR and administrative responsibilities as required
- Carry out other duties assigned by the Regional Finance Manager from time to time
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum 6 years of full set accounting experience, ideally in a standalone or small team environment
- Strong knowledge of Taiwan accounting standards and tax regulations
- Experience in full set accounting, HR, and administrative functions
- Familiarity with MS Excel, ERP systems, and general PC applications
- Fluency in Mandarin and working proficiency in English
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
- Professional experience with European multinational corporation is required
