Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the accounting/finance department and perform internal audits (including auditing accounts receivable, accounts payable for domestic and international transactions, and other internal financial matters)
- Manage full-set accounting for freight forwarding/logistics company (must have hands-on experience running a complete set of accounts in the forwarding or logistics sector)
- Coordinate with external CPAs for annual financial audit, tax certification, and issuance of audited financial statements and tax reports
- Handle Insurance, enrollment, withdrawal, and adjustments
- Prepare payroll reports, calculate and distribute salaries and bonuses
- Prepare company financial statements (in both Chinese and English) as required by headquarters, including financial analysis and explanations
- Budget planning, fund requisition, annual financial budgeting, and all matters related to business tax (VAT) filing and compliance
- Operate and manage the e-invoice (GUI) cloud system and ensure seamless integration with accounting software
Requirements:
- Minimum 810 years of accounting experience, with at least 35 years as Accounting/Finance Manager in the freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping industry
- Proven experience managing a full set of accounts specifically for a forwarding/logistics company
- Familiar with Taiwan taxation regulations, labor/health insurance rules, and cross-border transaction accounting
- Strong experience coordinating CPA audits and preparing bilingual financial reports
- Proficient in cloud-based e-invoice systems and major ERP/accounting software
- Excellent analytical skills, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good command of English (written and spoken) for reporting to overseas headquarters
- Certified Public Accountant (Taiwan CPA) qualification is a strong advantage
