Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Finance & Accounting Associate to join our Singapore team.
This role goes beyond traditional accounting, you will play a key role in supporting business operations by providing financial insights and ensuring strong financial control.

Key Responsibilities
1.Financial Accounting & Closing
- Manage AP/AR processes including invoicing, reconciliation, and collections
- Prepare journal entries, expense claims, and maintain proper documentation
- Perform month-end closing and support financial statement preparation (IFRS)
- Maintain fixed assets register and depreciation
2.Treasury & Cash Management
- Handle banking transactions including payments and GIRO
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash reports
- Support treasury-related activities and funding requirements
3.Tax & Compliance
- Support GST filing, corporate tax (ECI, Form C), and IR8A submissions
- Handle withholding tax (WHT) matters
- Ensure compliance with ACRA and statutory requirements
4.Audit & Reporting
- Support statutory audit and liaise with external auditors
- Prepare reports and respond to HQ finance requirements
5.Business Support & Analysis
- Analyze sales, margins, and cost structure to support business decisions
- Provide financial insights for PB (Private Brand) and retail operations
- Support pricing, promotions, and profitability analysis
- Assist in new business initiatives and investment reviews
6.Process Improvement
- Support ERP implementation and process enhancement
- Improve finance workflows and internal controls
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 510 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
- Experience in Retail / Trading / Import-export industry preferred
- Hands-on experience in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Familiarity with Singapore tax regulations (GST, Corporate Tax)
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Good business acumen and analytical mindset
- Proficiency in English; Malay (Bahasa Malaysia) language skills are a plus
- Experience with SAP is an advantage
- Eligible to work in Singapore (PR or citizenship).
- Available to commence in September November 2026
