What You'll Do

Role

As a Quality Engineer, you'll be a key part of our Quality team, using your advanced problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to maintain highest product quality and customer satisfaction. Your work will directly support our continuous innovation and growth efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot product failures
  • Write and execute test plans to find the root cause of failures
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders on corrective and preventative actions
  • Lead complex, high impact investigations involving customer escalations, systemic field failures, RMAs, and critical non conformances using advanced problem solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, DOE, statistical analysis).
  • Support customer communications by clearly articulating technical findings, risks, and corrective actions at both operational and leadership levels.
  • Design test fixtures and software solutions to expedite execution of testing
  • Develop control plans, inspection plans, and SOP's for processes required during failure analysis, root cause investigation, or as containment actions.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of quality-related work experience
  • Legally authorized to work in Taiwan and China without company sponsorship, and travel through the Asia Pacific region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly and disassembly and competent with hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, hand drill etc.)
  • Knowledge of programming tools such as LabView, Python, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of embedded systems such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), microcontrollers, Raspberry Pi, Linux, Bash, etc.
  • Experience in using bench tools (oscilloscope, power analyzer, logic analyzer, multimer, etc.)
  • Experience in using basic metrology equipment (microscopes, calipers, micrometers, other mechanical gauges) Demonstrated experience in testing and qualifying electro-mechanical parts and systems
  • Experience in root-causing product failures, 8D reporting, as well as developing corrective, and preventative actions recommendations

Skills (competencies)

  • Excellent English and local language skills for internal/external communication and technical writing
  • Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, GD&T, and electrical schematics
  • Intermediate to advanced data analysis and statistical skill level in MS Excel and other software tools.
  • Willingness to travel up 30% of the time
