The Molex Early Career Engineer (ECE) Program is an international six-month talent development program designed to accelerate your growth into Field Application Engineering (FAE) roles within our datacenter business. Join a global leader involved in the infrastructure that powers modern AI, cloud, and edge datacenters.
Our Team
The ECE Program is a fast track to FAE roles with clear career progression and global opportunities. During the six month program, you will undergo structured technical and commercial training covering customer collaboration methodology, datacenter connectivity, power & cooling basics, cabling systems, and Molex product portfolios.
You will also receive on-the-job training to prepare you for a field application engineering role after the six-month program.
In addition to the ECE track, we also have the following technical teams actively growing their FAE talent:
- Signal Integrity (SI) FAE Team
The Signal Integrity team supports customers on high‑speed interconnect solutions, working closely on signal analysis, simulation, and validation of advanced connector systems. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in digital circuits, communication theory, and high‑speed signal integrity concepts.
The Mechanical FAE team partners with customers on connector design, mechanical performance, and application support, bridging product engineering and real‑world use cases. This role suits candidates with strong 3D modeling skills, mechanical fundamentals, and an interest in customer‑facing technical collaboration.
What You Will Do
- Partake in cross-functional training opportunities to learn the full business scope
- Structured technical and commercial training covering Molex datacenter product portfolios
- Sales methodology training
- Work with experienced senior colleagues to support with new project opportunities and customer facing technical engagement
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor or above degree in Science, Engineering, Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering or related fields
- Good at communication, proactive, eager to learn, willing to share, and skilled at influencing and motivating others.
- Able to face challenges positively, result-oriented, good at creatively solving problems, and able to grow quickly in a changing environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally for customer meetings and training as required
