Field Application Engineer

As an FAE, you will serve as the technical bridge between customers and our internal teams, supporting IoT module integration, troubleshooting, and global product launches from PoC to mass production.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support customers with module implementation, development, and integration, covering both hardware and software.
2. Debug, analyze, and track customer-reported issues and provide appropriate solutions.
3. Prepare product-related technical documentation and presentations.
4. Collaborate with internal PM, R&D, and testing teams to track issues and project progress.
5. Provide on-site technical support and assist customers with testing and validation.
6. Other designated work arranged according to the company's business needs.

FAE - Hardware

Education/Experience/Competencies/Skills Requirements

Wireless Communications and Protocols

• Familiarity with 4G LTE, 5G NR, LPWA (NB-IoT/Cat-M), and GNSS technologies and specifications.
• Hands-on experience with network protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT, UDP, FTP, and SSL.
• Knowledge of AT commands and cellular module integration processes.

Hardware Debugging and Interfaces

• Familiarity with hardware interfaces, including UART, SPI, I²C, USB, PCIe, SDIO, and RGMII.
• Hands-on hardware debugging experience using oscilloscopes, power monitors, and USB protocol analyzers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RF antenna tuning, OTA testing, or schematic and PCB layout design.
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment, such as the R&S CMW500, CMW100, and Keysight UXM 5G.
• Previous experience working for a wireless module vendor, distributor, or system manufacturer.
• Familiarity with Taiwan's ODM/OEM ecosystem and experience with IoT projects.

FAE - Software

Education/Experience/Competencies/Skills Requirements

• End-to-end product development experience with Embedded Linux, preferably including OpenWrt.
• Previous experience working for a wireless module vendor, distributor, or system manufacturer.
• Familiarity with Taiwan's ODM/OEM ecosystem and experience with IoT projects.
