Facility Engineer

Your role

• Operate and maintain electrical distribution, HVAC, compressed air, water, drainage, fire protection, and mechanical systems to minimize failures and interruptions.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans; analyze failures and lead root-cause analysis.
• Monitor capacity, utility demand, and equipment loading; identify risks, recommend upgrades, and support expenditure planning.
• Manage work requests, emergency responses, maintenance records, drawings, standards, procedures, permits, and inspections.
• Oversee contractors and vendors, including scope, quotations, scheduling, permits, safety, quality, contracts, and acceptance.
• Ensure compliance with Taiwan regulations and company standards in electrical, building, fire, environmental, and safety activities; support audits.
• Analyze and improve energy, water, and utility performance; set baselines and verify savings.
• Execute production line or facility modifications, including requirements, cost, schedule, risk, coordination, testing, and handover.
• Support factory expansion and major projects via design reviews, utility planning, coordination, commissioning, and handover.
  
  

To succeed, you will need

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• Three to five years of experience in facilities or equipment maintenance
• Skilled in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, or facility systems
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and root-cause analysis
• Project management skills including scope, schedule, and cost control
• Basic AutoCAD skills for facility drawings
• Able to read technical documents and prepare engineering reports
• Proficient in English for technical communication
• Capable of supporting shutdowns, emergencies, and construction sites

Job location

Option 1: On-Site

This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Jhunan, Taiwan (TW). You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.
