ALG is hiring for Facility Maintenance Engineers for our client based in the west side of Singapore in their Plant Facilities.
Our client is known for providing equipment and services for refrigerated transport and temperature-controlled cargo management.
This is a 1 year contract role with high likelihood of extension or conversion to permanent.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and oversee preventive maintenance of building facilities systems.
- Systems include: Electrical System, HVAC System, MV System, Compressed Air System, P&S System etc.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational reliability.
- Implement predictive maintenance strategies leveraging IoT sensor solutions and AI-driven applications.
- Drive KPIs for energy savings, power interruption, and faster breakdown recovery.
- Continuously improve maintenance efficiency through data-driven insights.
- To support and develop AI-Driven Maintenance Work Process (MWP).
- Manage and maintain utilities supply systems including HT/LT, Digital Metering, Energy Monitoring Systems, Water Supply, and Gas Supply.
- Monitor performance and ensure uninterrupted supply of critical utilities.
- Lead and manage plant facilities repair and improvement projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review vendor design submissions and ensure timely approvals.
- Responsible for mandatory checks and approval process for external vendor electrical design submissions.
- Manage vendor's work quality and safety compliances
- Deliver projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Develop and implement an Integrated Facility Management model to coordinate M&E maintenance and engineering works.
- Responsible for cost saving and better streamline of repair works through IFM management.
- Enhance collaboration across different discipline for seamless facility maintenance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in FM/Engineering or relevant discipline.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance and management.
- Strong expertise in Electrical & Mechanical Systems maintenance.
- High level of computer proficiency tech-savvy with an AI-driven mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and vendor coordination skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Innovative thinker with a passion for leveraging technology in facilities management.
- Results-oriented with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Company transport provided from West side and parts of the North.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 7.40am - 5.00pm
- Overtime as and when required to support operations
