The Security Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and driving end-to-end delivery of PPM programs, corrective maintenance, and minor-to-medium works/projects. The role manages service providers performance and contract obligations, maintains accurate records and reporting, and supports stakeholder communication to ensure services meet client standards and site requirements. Role summary
The Security Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and driving end-to-end delivery of PPM programs, corrective maintenance, and minor-to-medium works/projects. The role manages service providers performance and contract obligations, maintains accurate records and reporting, and supports stakeholder communication to ensure services meet client standards and site requirements. Key responsibilities
- Own and manage the PPM program: planning, scheduling, tracking completion, and ensuring all work is documented and closed out properly.
- Coordinate reactive repairs: triage requests, assign vendors, monitor progress, confirm completion, and ensure service restoration and customer satisfaction.
- Manage small/medium projects: support scoping, quotations, work planning, approvals, execution oversight, commissioning/handover, and close-out documentation.
- Vendor and contract management: coordinate contract deliverables, renewals support, service level adherence, performance reviews, and continuous improvement actions.
- Cost and commercial support: validate quotations, track spend vs. budget (where applicable), support purchase order/invoice checks, and ensure supporting documentation is complete.
- Compliance and governance: ensure works follow site rules, safety requirements, method statements/permits (as applicable), and account processes/audit expectations.
- Reporting and communication: provide regular updates (PPM status, repair backlog, project progress, vendor performance), maintain trackers, and escalate risks/issues early.
- Stakeholder support: coordinate with site teams, client contacts, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Experience in facilities operations, maintenance coordination, or service delivery (PPM and reactive maintenance).
- Experience coordinating external vendors/contractors and managing service performance against agreed requirements.
- Working knowledge of basic project coordination for small/medium works (scope, schedule, execution control, handover).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with client stakeholders and vendors.
- Comfortable with tracking/reporting using standard tools (e.g., spreadsheets, work order/CMMS platforms).
- Relevant certifications in facilities, safety, or project coordination are an advantage (as applicable to local requirements).
- PPM completion on time and to required quality/documentation standards.
- Reduction and control of reactive backlog; improved response and closure times.
- Small/medium projects delivered on time, within agreed scope, and with proper handover documentation.
- Vendor performance meeting service expectations; issues addressed through clear action plans.
- Strong compliance outcomes (safety/process adherence and audit-ready documentation).
- At least 1 year experience in refrigeration and air conditioning management
