Responsibilities:

• Maintain strong relationships and open communication with shipping lines, co-loaders, customs brokers, and trucking companies; negotiate rates. * Coordinate export shipments for various cargo types (including dangerous goods and non-hazardous cargo) and buyer consolidation; issue booking confirmations to clients and prepare freight lists. * Handle trade disputes or unexpected incidents with flexibility and effective problem-solving. * Possess inside sales/customer service capabilities, including providing quotations and delivering excellent customer service. * Proficient in using online booking systems for various shipping lines. * Familiar with Incoterms and various container types (standard, flat rack, open-top, ISO tank, bulk, and refrigerated containers). * Proficient in using global systems (e.g., Meridian, BDP SmartVU) to generate bills of lading, issue invoices (including overseas billing), handle reconciliations, and manage filings such as ACE, ACI, ICS2, MPCI, and ISF, as well as outsourced documentation processes.
  
  

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate must have five (5) of experience handling ocean or air export functions
• Prefer at least one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a customer service type environment.
• A college degree is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced office.
• Good communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills required.
• Candidate must possess a strong team work attitude.
• Leadership experience is a strongly desired.
• Candidate must be PC literate with MS Office applications.
