Executive, Ship Finance

We are supporting a leading shipping company in the hire of an Executive, Ship Finance. This opportunity offers exposure to ship financing, treasury activities, financial risk management, and strategic finance projects within a global shipping business.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of ship financing transactions and related documentation processes
• Assist in the preparation of financial analyses, management presentations, and approval papers
• Support treasury activities, including financing facility management and hedging initiatives
• Monitor financing obligations and covenant compliance across various facilities
• Liaise with financial institutions and internal stakeholders on financing-related matters
• Conduct market research and analysis on industry and financing developments
• Support strategic projects, investment evaluations, and other ad hoc initiatives

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Maritime Studies, or a related discipline
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in ship finance, corporate banking, credit analysis, treasury, corporate finance, audit, transaction services, or related functions
• Strong analytical and financial skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Keen interest in ship finance, treasury, and financial markets
