Hong Kong Institute of Educational Research (HKIER) invites candidates with substantial project management experience to join the Quality School Improvement Project (QSIP) as Executive Officer.

QSIP is an organisation established by HKIER in 1998, committed to enhancing the quality of education, strengthening teachers professional capacity, and driving school improvement through the provision of professional school-based support and the dissemination of effective practices. The appointee will be responsible for (a) performing project management duties in support of QSIP's initiatives, including school recruitment, programme implementation, dissemination, and evaluation (b) liaising with internal and external parties to plan and coordinate joint-school and territory-wide events (c) supporting the editing and production of project deliverables, including toolkits and lesson design exemplars (d) preparing proposals and reports (e) providing executive support to office administration and carrying out supervisory duties and (f) performing other tasks as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: (iii) at least 6 years post-qualification executive experience in project management, preferably in tertiary institutions or NGOs related to education (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (v) strong organisational and analytical skills (vi) the ability to manage multiple priorities independently as well as collaboratively in a team and (vii) a high level of initiative, responsibility, and attention to detail. Having knowledge of the local education context will be an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
