Reporting to the Team Head of the Stakeholder Learning and Development team within the Office of MBA Programmes (the Office), the appointee will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of student development initiatives that enrich the MBA student experience and sense of community. This role requires strong project coordination skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to working with students and stakeholders to support the Office%27s learning and development objectives.

The appointee will be responsible for (1) Stakeholder Development Programmes, including (a) supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of stakeholder development programmes, including the CAP (Career Acceleration Presence) Programme and assist the LEAP Programme (b) liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation of programme activities, including the Career Doctor Consultation Scheme, career workshops, and other career-related events (c) managing participant communication, event logistics, scheduling, and comprehensive post-event follow-up and evaluation and (d) preparing programme materials, administrative documents, reports, and evaluation summaries (2) Community for Student Engagement, including (e) organising student engagement events, to promote student knowledge-sharing, effective communication, and positive class culture and norm building (f) developing and executing student communication strategies to build strong relationships and foster class bonding within the MBA cohort and (g) co-ordinating spotlight moments such as opening and graduation ceremonies to strengthen sense of belonging (3) Operational and Administrative Support, including (h) coordinating meeting arrangements, maintain records, and assist in preparing presentation materials, reports, and related documentation (i) supporting the collection and consolidation of student feedback and participation data to facilitate programme review and continuous improvement and (j) performing other administrative duties to support the effective delivery of student development initiatives and undertaking ad hoc duties as assigned by the Administrative Director (or his delegate). Working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with occasional overseas travel, will be required.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or a related discipline (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo (iii) at least 5 years post-qualification executive experience in programme administration or career counselling, preferably in tertiary education sector (iv) strong self-motivation, organisation and a strong sense of accountability (v) demonstrated the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team (vi) proven excellence in cross-sector communication and interpersonal skills (vii) the ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and (viii) proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua). Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written test and interview.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
