Among all the postgraduate programmes offered by the CUHK Business School, the EMBA (Chinese) Programme is a highly selective programme that aims to attract highly motivated professionals in the business sector. This part-time programme caters to the needs of working professionals in Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland and the region whose needs are centred on leadership development.

The School now seeks to appoint a high calibre candidate as an Executive Officer I in the Office of EMBA (Chinese) Programme to play a key role in drivingprogramme'srecruitment initiatives.Reporting to the Assistant Director of EMBA (Chinese) Programme, the Executive Officer's main duties include(a)assisting in formulating and executing the programme's recruitment plan, including market development, event organising, and leveraging programme's networks to meet enrolment targets while enhancing market share and brand visibility(b)assisting in drafting and implementing strategies to strengthen the School's ties with government bodies, alumni, and the business community(c)managing outreach activities to promote the School's and programme's initiatives and events to government agencies, alumni, and the business community(d)serving as the key point of contact for the programme to maintain effective communication with students, stay abreast of prospective applicants needs in real-time, and build long-term relationships(e)analysing market positioning, organising and conducting market analysis, market research, target client analysis, and gathering competitor intelligence to facilitate formulating marketing and recruitment plans(f)developing promotional copy, co-ordinating event follow-ups, and reporting for effective marketing and communication through various media and(g)performing other impromptu duties as assigned. Working at flexible hours / weekends and travelling outside Hong Kong willberequired.

Applicants should have (i) a Masters or higher degree, preferably in Business or a related discipline (ii) fulfilled the language requirements set out on the website: (iii) at least8years post-qualification executive experience, preferably inthe higher education sector (iv)substantial administrative and business development experience, preferably a mix of business sector and tertiary education sector (v)demonstrated good team building, management and organisational skills to collaborate with dynamic teams (vi)strong organisational and planning skills with ability to prioritise multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining high work quality (vii)excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills as well as ability to maintain positive rapport with a diverse group of external and internal stakeholders (viii)the ability to work independently with minimal supervision to deliver results while being an effective contributor as part of a close-knit team environment and (ix)an excellent command of written and verbal communication in English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese). Shortlisted candidates may be invited for interviews and written testin English and/or Chinese, as appropriate.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
