Job Description

This is a senior, right-hand position supporting the Principal directly across two companies and in a personal capacity. It is a role of exceptional trust, discretion, and closeness. The person in this seat becomes the Principal's proxy in high-level correspondence, the guardian of a demanding schedule, and the curator of memorable personal experiences. It is equal parts operational excellence and genuine human warmth.

Core Responsibilities:

Inbox & Correspondence Ownership

  • Take full ownership of the Principal's inbox - triaging, prioritizing, and surfacing what matters.
  • Draft, send, and manage correspondence on the Principal's behalf, allowing the Principal to move to CC or BCC on the majority of email.
  • Maintain the Principal's voice and standards in all written communication, in both English and Chinese.

Scheduling & Gatekeeping

  • Own and orchestrate a complex, shifting calendar across time zones.
  • Act as a thoughtful gatekeeper - protecting the Principal's time while keeping relationships warm.
  • Anticipate needs and resolve conflicts before they surface.

High-Level Liaison

  • Serve as a polished, front-facing point of contact for Western CEOs, their offices, and senior counterparts.
  • Represent the Principal with poise, cultural fluency, and impeccable judgement.

Bespoke Hospitality & Guest Experience

  • Curate the Principal's personal entertaining - dinners, gatherings, and time with friends - so every occasion feels special and considered.
  • Attend to the details that transport guests: themed settings, personalized name cards, thoughtfully chosen menus, and beautifully staged surroundings.
  • Brief, train, and oversee service staff to a high standard so hospitality is seamless.
  • Turn the Principal's limited social time into experiences that touch people's hearts and leave a lasting impression.

Travel

  • Accompany the Principal on occasional travel, approximately once or twice per month, providing on-the-ground support.

Qualifications:

  • Full professional fluency in English and Chinese - spoken and written - is essential.
  • Proven experience supporting a senior principal, founder, or executive at the highest level.
  • Absolute discretion and a deep respect for confidentiality.
  • Exceptional organization and the ability to juggle many priorities without dropping a thread.
  • A refined sense of hospitality, aesthetics, and detail.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones, including occasional late hours, and to travel as needed.

Personal Qualities:

  • Emotional intelligence - the ability to make people feel seen, valued, and at ease.
  • Emotional maturity and self-regulation, with genuine grace under pressure.
  • Warmth and a natural, nurturing touch in how they care for the Principal's guests and relationships.
  • Calm, composed, and dependable in demanding or fast-moving situations.
  • Discreet, loyal, and deeply trustworthy.

Confidentiality

This role sits at the centre of the Principal's professional and personal life. It carries a strict confidentiality framework - including a non-disclosure agreement and clear protocols around information, communications, and privacy - which extends beyond the term of employment. Discretion is not a preference here; it is the foundation of the role.

Compensation

Competitive compensation commensurate with experience, reflecting the seniority and trust of the position. Full statutory benefits provided from day one. Specific figures will be discussed directly with shortlisted candidates.
